The only thing we know for sure is that things are going to break. Starting out as a technician at a production switcher manufacturer taught me a very valuable lesson. It’s much easier to fix something that has worked, as opposed to something right off the assembly line.

Don't bug me.

Don’t bug me.

Smoke test anyone? While at Davis Audio Visual we picked up the Denver Public schools contract for A/V maintenance. I could not believe what  I had discovered, a gold mine of broken equipment and few if any companies willing to commit to timely repairs. That was 1996. I don’t believe a lot has changed since then. If you would like to put in a little $10,000.00 system, they line up around the block, but need a projector moved, or a screen fabric replaced and good luck getting somebody to show up.

USPS Camera Diagnosis

USPS Camera Diagnosis

We show up. Depending on how important it is we show up very fast. We clean cameras, get rid of buzzing audio, repair RGB and data lines, diagnose system issues and get the defective culprit going, usually the same day to the nearest factory authorized repair center.

We are big on dealing as direct as possible with original manufacturers. Nobody can fix it like the guys who built it. We tried to avoid shotgun modular approach repairs. The sooner we get it to someone competent, the sooner it is up and running as original.

We have spliced data, fiber, coax and CAT5 cables, snapped off solar panel supports, cameras galore, microwave video systems, Tropos wifi system issues. Pretty much anything the audio and video realm we have fixed or replaced. Consider giving us a call to try and repair or upgrade your audio or video system before taking that other companies advice of complete replacement. We come when you call us, please call us.
